To keep up with the demands of growing e-commerce sales, UPS is planning to increase its Saturday Ground service coverage. By the end of this year, UPS will offer Saturday pickup and delivery services to areas covering half the US population. Saturday delivery was rolled out to a few select test cities earlier in 2016, but will now start expanding to other markets.
